Portrait          For as long as I can remember, I have been a creator.

After years of Legos and home videos, I graduated to my first professional DV camcorder (the classic Sony TRV900) in 1998, and haven't looked back since. I have been working with digital media, including video, audio, and the web, for over 10 years, creating and contributing to projects, and for clients, of all types.

In 2002, I attended the University of Minnesota, where I double-majored in English Literature and in an Individually Designed Interdisciplinary Major which I got away with calling "Sound + Vision: Media Studies and the Modern Social Arts." That's right, I majored in a David Bowie song.

From 2002-2006, I worked at KUOM - Radio K in Minneapolis as a weekday morning DJ, drive-time DJ, audio producer, live engineer, and for two years as the station's program director. During this time, I produced and recorded live in-studio performances from artists including Death Cab for Cutie, Metric, The Hold Steady, Rilo Kiley, and dozens of other local, national, and international artists.

Since 2006, I have worked professionally and in a freelance capacity as a motion graphics artist, film and video editor, and web developer, and I continue to write and direct short films. My 2008 film, "An Error in Common," can currently be seen on Canadian television channel MOVIEOLA.

I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my lovely wife and three computers.
