A sampling of the work I did for the independant crime film "The City." These effects are often much more complicated than they first appear.
For example, in the final clip of this sequence, the actor actually did not shoot himself! Only later did the director deside to use this footage for that purpose.
Both the pulling of the trigger and the actor slumping after being shot were animated manually.
