A simple 3D tracked title sequence created for a music video directed by fellow freelancer and snappy dresser Patrick Pierson.
3D floating text is a common effect these days, but it takes subtle hints to sell it properly as part of the environment. Here I included a spatially-accurate reflection of the singer as he crosses the chrome-styled title, and paid special attention to the high contrast and color grain of the black and white footage, as well as the focal length of the lens used in the shot.
