Made for the Sound Unseen film festival. I had planned a narrative video, but before production, the lens on my camera was damaged; all it could film were close-ups. Seeing crisis as opportunity, I created an abstract stream-of-consciousness video blending new footage, animation, and stock footage.
As a meticulous artist, this was a difficult direction for me, but I am proud of what emerged from the randomness, and feel it lives up to the tone of Haley Bonar's haunting and beautiful song.
